Amber resin is typically a blend of fossilized tree sap (ancient plant secretions) and other botanical extracts like myrrh and frankincense. It is widely used for aromatherapy, natural solid perfumes, and incense. It is highly valued for its warm, grounding aroma and reported calming properties.

• Solid Perfume: Amber resin functions as a natural, beeswax-based perfume. When rubbed directly onto pulse points (like wrists), body heat melts the resin, releasing a rich, sweet, and earthy aroma. [
• Incense Resin: Chunks of amber resin are placed on glowing charcoal discs to fill a space with fragrant smoke, which is often used during meditation or spiritual practices to clear negative energy. 
• Herbal Medicine: Raw amber (known as Hu Po in Traditional Chinese Medicine) and amber-infused herbs are valued for their potential to ease anxiety, promote relaxation, and reduce inflammation.
